More baths = less stress. Just saying.

Seriously.

I don’t know about you but I just need this reminder from time to time.  And I LOVE baths.  There have been times in my life (like years at a time) when I pretty much only bathed.  I didn’t even take showers.  If I needed to get clean, I hopped in the tub, period.

But they do go to sleep, every night.

So I’m writing this just to remind us all– get in the tub.  It’s so sublime.  And in most cases it’s just at your finger tips. Turn the tap. Slip in. Ahhhh.

We happen to have a bathtub in our backyard– which is just over the top amazing, especially this time of year.

I almost always add essential oils.  I chose these based on my mood and desires.  My current favorites are rose and lavender.  Sometimes I’m into lime or other scents.  Whatever.

This post isn’t about essential oils.  It’s about soaking in hot water.  It’s amazing and soothing and right there in your bathroom.

If you want to make it even better you can add one or several of the following:

  • Epsom Salts
  • Baking Soda (I think it makes the Epsom Salts less drying)
  • Essential Oils
  • Bubbles… I’m just recently into this again.  (Thank you kids organic bubbles solution.  I’m on the look out for an adult version– because having bubbles caress your shoulders is just oh so lovely.)
  • Candles (We also have a string of white lights in our bathroom for tub mood lighting.)

Just saying, I doubt you’ll regret it.

Love,

Aimée

P.S. Tell me if you have a favorite (especially natural-ish) bubble bath.

Aimée Cartier is a psychic, author, and obviously, lover of baths.  She’s into things that make her feel good, relaxed, whole and healthy– and baths definitely fall into that category.  On her blog (where you are now) she talks about these kinds of things, even those as simple as bathing.  More about her psychic work can be found on her website: www.spreadingblessings.com.
