Hey Empath, Now is a good time to shine.
Dear Empath,
This is your moment. Do what you were made for. Do you know what I mean?
Can you feel it? Can you feel the despair, fear and confusion that is rampant right now? Can you feel the anger and the heatedness that is stirred up on so many levels?
Of course you can. You’re empathic. You feel it in your body. You can’t help it—in little and big ways you’ve been feeling it for months— and now the pot has boiled over.
I’m going to tell you what may be a secret about empathic ability: It’s a two-way street. In addition to being hyper sensitive to the feelings of others, empathic people are also vibration holders and antidote makers. It’s how (and I think why) we are built.
So in addition to being able to feel everyone else’s business, you also have the ability to help others make shifts. Big shifts. You don’t do it by a magic wand or any energetic manipulation; you do it by imbibing the emotion that you are endeavoring to enhance. In cliché terms, you “be the change you are wanting to create.” But for real, it works and it’s true.
Everyone is affected by the emotions of others. But you, my dear empaths are a secret weapon. If you choose to be, you can make a difference in this world by finding, holding, and amplifying good vibrations, vibrations of love. Right now would be a good time for that. 🙂
I get it if you’re not in a place to do so. At some point or another in our lives that happens to all of us. Or if you are still running everyone else’s emotions through your body and don’t know how to stop it, this may also be hard right now. (If that’s the case, I’ve got a program for you and it starts in January. It’s called, Empath Intuition University.) But if you are, or if you think you can get yourself to solid emotional ground, doing so will have a big impact on those around you and will help us all collectively move back into a place of equanimity, tolerance, and love.
In the coming bit of time, as we weather the changes ahead, people will need something to hold on to, to focus on, and to grab their attention away from the fear. Be that light if you can. We need you.
How?
- Try to find your glow, even if it is soft right now. Meditate, get outside, do the practices that you know soothe your being and elevate your vibration.
- Make your glow bigger. On a practical level do things that bring you joy, that make you laugh, that make you actually feel the harmony, connectedness, and love that exists in the world, despite seemingly raging outward differences.
- Focus on amplifying it within yourself by doing whatever good things for yourself that you need to.
- Stay in this place. As often and as constantly as you can– be in that calm, centered, joyous, and loving place, even amidst the turmoil of others. Especially amidst the turmoil of others. Hold your position. Everyone has a right to feelings, and absolutely should be allowed to feel whatever they need to feel. But you have the ability to guide them back to the higher/lighter emotions when the time is right for them to return. You do this by shining.
My power lies in acceptance and in not getting pulled into the darkness.
Yours may too.
Now is a good time to shine.
Be that light if you can.
All my love,
Aimée
